Overview of the Department
The Department of Mathematics was established to deliver exceptional and pragmatic education, emphasizing extensive realistic and research experience, to cultivate proficient and well-trained mathematicians, researchers and professors in alignment with academic and industry requirements in the advanced fields of Mathematics. The Department of Mathematics supports each student by offering extensive real experience to enhance their understanding of subjects according to worldwide standards, while fostering technological advancement and high ethical quality for societal service.
Department has striven to set high standards of teaching. The Department has succeeded in this Endeavour and over the years, it has produced highly qualified and motivated Mathematicians and Statistician to provide leadership in Educational Institutions, R&D organizations and Software Industry. Graduates of this Department are distinctively placed in reputed institutions and organizations. It has been the cherished goal of the Department to inculcate in the students a desire to excel, to demonstrate originality and to develop a sense of responsibility towards the society. Accordingly, the Department continuously reviews and monitors the curriculum of its academic programs.

The scientific skills attained by a student’s open the wide range of opportunities in the field of Mathematics, research. Development in the mathematics has become a need of time for the human being in software, artificial intelligence, data software as well as emerging to development. The Mathematics Department in the AKS University is offering various academic programs including B.Sc. B.Sc. (Hons), M.Sc., and Ph.D., and various scientific and learning skill development as per the NEP-2020 to the students for inspiring them to innovate in field of mathematics as well as make them a responsibility who can create, collaborate and committed to uplift the society with their extraordinary learning skills.
Department has committed for overall transformation of students by training on multi-dimensional learning skills related to research and development so that they may pursue demanding higher education that may lead to provide career security to become a successful researcher, academician, or in software industries. For this purpose, department has dedicated, highly qualified faculty members those always proactively take efforts to inculcate research attitude, skills and curiosity in students. Apart from the academic activities, students are also encouraged to participate in various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities and are also made aware about their social responsibilities. Taken together, we aim to groom students with ethics, knowledge, skills, enthusiasm and willpower, so that they should stand with competence in the race at any frontiers in their career and personal as well as social life.
